Just a reminder for this really important event for the Group

Please find attached a letter giving details of this years St george's parade.
 
I would urge everyone to attend - it is just about the only event we consider to be compulsory for members of the group to attend. It really is essential that we fly the flag for 5th Urmston.
 
We will be serving refreshments at the end of the parade and we will have the new climbing wall up as a fundraiser for people to have a go - even adults.
 
Any problems then do please give me a ring - but please do try and re-jig diaries so that we can all take part.

I have had a last minute cancellation for our trip to Switzerland this year.

The dates are Friday 23rd July to Sunday 1st August and the cost is £450 which includes transport, indoor accommodation, all food and lots of fun packed adventurous activities including a trip to the International Scout Centre at Kanderstag.

It is open to Scouts of all ages and Explorer Scouts. If you are interested then please contact me ASAP.

The place will be allocated on a first come basis so hurry if you are interested.

Have a good Easter - there are no Scouts on Good Friday but back to normal on 9th April.

Don't forget our St Georges Parade is on Sunday 18th April - Details on the website but all scouts must attend.

Hi to all of you - I hope you are finding the scout's section of the web-site useful. I will try to keep you posted with what's happening and any information you may need.

Information

1. I am trying to get some records up to date and as such could you please print off and complete the Air Rifle Permission Sheet and bring it down ASAP.

2. I have had a last minute cancellation for our trip to Switzerland this year. 3. Just a reminder that the scouts are working through a Challenge Badge each month so it's really important not to miss a week or they may miss out!

4. I sent out some reminders to amend standing order payments to some of you. Please, Please, Please try to get these amended ASAP. Our year end is nearly upon us so we need to ensure it's all up to date. Subs are £10 a month preferably payable by standing order. We can accept cash if necessary. If you are not paying by Standing Order then just complete the attached form and return it to us at "The Hut"
